My curiosity led me to pursue a career in product development. Growing up in a family with a mix of blue-collar and white-collar backgrounds, I aspired to find a profession that combined hands-on, technical work with entrepreneurial creativity. This led me to pursue industrial design at Philadelphia University (Jefferson University).
Major Milestones:
Graduated from Philadelphia University ( Jefferson) and started freelancing, working on various projects such as aftermarket car parts, POP displays, and 3D rendering services.
Joined Environmental Tectonics Corporation (ETC) as an Industrial Designer, collaborating with mechanical engineers, creatives, programmers, and ex-military personnel. Worked on conceptual developments, obtained several patents and worked on projects for aeromedical training equipment, hyperbaric chambers, sterilization equipment, and G-Force simulators.
Relocated to the NYC area, engaged in consultancy work for an engineering / design firm and a furniture producer.
Joined Enchante Accessories, where I primarily developed designs for bath hardware and furniture divisions. Also involved in projects for other divisions like hardware and outdoor products.
Moved to the Jersey Shore and worked at Arc International, the world's largest tableware manufacturer. Started as an industrial designer and quickly progressed to become the head of design for the North America division. Led a team in developing mass-produced glassware items for top brands in the beverage, hospitality, and mass retail markets, with a focus on high-volume glass production, packaging and marketing collateral.
Transitioned to a Product Manager role at a reputable kiln manufacturer, responsible for rebranding, market/sales strategies, product, web, and design developments under the guidance of the company's President and Vice President.
Throughout my journey, I have collaborated with diverse individuals and organizations, gaining insights and inspiration that continue to shape my design contributions. I am passionate about the design process and the impact we can have on society and the world around us. I look forward to future collaborations and opportunities to expand my skills and tackle new challenges. Thank you for taking the time to learn about my journey so far.
